Consultation - Potential Regulations for Rowan's Law (Concussion Safety)

On March 6, Ontario passed new legislation, Rowan's Law (Concussion Safety), 2018, as well as amendments to the Education Act. The law will take effect this fall on Sept. 28 2018, prior to the full implementation of the law, the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Sport is requesting public input to better form and develop regulations for the legislation going forward. This new legislation is intended to ensure better management of concussions in amateur sport and will establish mandatory requirement
