The Jr. Gaels Football Club is actively monitoring the continuously evolving COVID-19 situation.  Protecting the health and safety of our players, coaches, staff and community, is our primary concerns, ‚Äčand the Club is continuously assessing where our current season stands.

Currently, based on the advice of public health, the OPFL and Football Canada our operations continue to be suspended, as is the case with all OPFL organizations across the province.  Given the uncertainty, we will maintain the suspension of our operations for the spring/summer program until the Ministry of Health, Football Canada and league recommend that it is safe to resume football activities. Unfortunately, at this time there is no set timeline on that decision.

We will be meeting with the OPFL Executive Board in the upcoming days to discuss contingency plans for the 2020 season and will have a better understanding of what this means for our players. These are unprecedented times for us all, and it’s our collective our duty to take all precautionary measures to stay vigilant in keeping everyone in our community safe and healthy.

We will provide as much notice to you as possible on the resuming of our operations and any changes that will follow. Should the season be cancelled as a result of the evolving COVID-19 situation, the Jr. Gaels Football Club will be issuing it’s members a refund for their paid fees.

We appreciate your understanding and support during these trying times. If you have any questions, please feel free to us at info@jrgaelsfootball.com.

Stay safe!
